In antique very fine condition, we have an .450 caliber, Adams Model 1872 Mark III British Army Service Revolver. This was the standard issued sidearm of the British Empire from 1872-1880, and most Notably this was the service revolver during the ANGLO-ZULU WAR. This revolver is Totally matching with an excellent bore and it is mechanically sound as well. Ammunition is available from Fiocchi.
We have all seen and dearly love the 1964 movie “ZULU” starring Stanley Baker & Michael Caine, dramatically portraying the epic defense of Rorke’s Drift, certainly one of the most iconic war films we have seen. You may have noticed that the officers are carrying WWI vintage Webley Mk VI Revolvers, not historically correct as the 1872 Adams was the actual British Army Service Revolver in use during the Anglo-Zulu War. This revolver is a must have for anyone who collects Small Arms of the British Empire. This is an antique and can be shipped to your home.
