Here we have in nice but bloodstained condition a Late War Squareback Variant Japanese Type 94 Nambu Pistol that is dated March, 1945. This is with 1 factory original matching mag and a very rare late war fine weave canvas holster in mint condition. The pistol is all matching and was probably just shot once. So we have a fairly desirable late war variant gun that is very collectible and you add on top of that…
That this is still with the original bringback papers Plus, it was found in the hand of a dead Japanese soldier lying in a cave on Okinawa a short time after he shot himself with it in to avoid shaming the Emperor by being captured alive. The blood was wiped off of the front and the back of the grip some time soon after but not soon enough that it did not remove some finish. This is a nice artifact of the savage dead end fighting that those poor devils went through in this famous 1945 campaign.
