Description
One of the nicer Winchester made carbines that we have handled in the last couple of years, here’s a fantastic textbook correct and 100% factory original Winchester M1 Carbine that was manufactured in May, 1943. This is a late first contract example that is 100% factory original. It has the high wood stock with a cartouche is very crisp and clear. Also has the original C-tip sling with oiler, period correct WWII!
This carbine is hand stamped 6 6 44 on the stock and is believed to have been used in the actual D-Day landings on June 6, 1944! If you are looking for a straight up Winchester for your collection, we have it for you here.
