In 98% very sharp condition we have an outstanding example of a 1942 dated Italian Army Issued Beretta Model 1934 Pistol in .380 auto. This is a pristine example; it is all matching including the barrel and the bore is mint as well. Because of the small size and heavy use in the field these pistols are rarely ever seen this crisp and this one is a little gem.
The Model 1934 was the standard Italian Army Service Pistol of the WW2 era. Although a bit small and under-powered by even contemporary standards they were extremely well built and highly regarded by both the Germans and the Italians and anyone else who could get their hands on one. and they were certainly a much better pistol than anything in .32 auto. They were very popular war trophies and used to be very hard to obtain because people hung onto them for carry and house guns. This is a top example and it is very modestly priced and a great value.
