SOLD US WWI SMITH & WESSON M-1917 .45 ACP SERVICE REVOLVER, 1918 PRODUCTION, MINT CRISP UN-FIRED! WITH SMITH LETTER!

In 98% mint crisp UN-FIRED Condition, we have a stunning example of a US WWI September, 1918 production Smith & Wesson M-1917 Service Revolver in .45acp caliber.  According to the Smith Factory Letter this was shipped off to France about a month before the end of Hostilities.  This is a mint crisp un-issued all matching example that really pops and having the Letter is like icing on the cake, as it makes it so much more liquid.  I always like the Smith made revolvers better than the Colts; they just fit my hand better.
