This Kimber of Oregon Model 82 SuperAmerica .22 LR. Serial SA2 has a 22-inch tapering sporter barrel with ramp front sight and white-beaded blade, quarter rib with fixed and folding express blades. Features include a round top receiver (Kimber bases attached), bolt knob is uncheckered unlike later models, and a five-round magazine and three spare magazines. The stock is drawn from a AAA-grade claro walnut blank, wrap checkering, scalloped cheek rest with shadow line, checkered steel butt plate with widow’s peak, inletted sling swivel studs and a satin finish. The box is original with correct end label with original UPS shipping label to original owner, Mr Lou Leonard. Included is a letter from Mr Leonard detailing the history of the naming of the SuperAmerica rifle and how he came to own the second production rifle.
