In 97% mint condition, we have a very scarce and seldom seen 1940 Nazi Era Kommer Model 4 7.65mm Pistol. As far as Kommer Pistols go, this is a late production example made in 1940 and remarkably still a full rig exactly as it was brought back with the original holster and spare mag. Production of the Model 4 Kommer was low, with only a few thousand ever being made. They are pretty much the same general pistol as a FN Model 1910 or a DWM.
Waffenfabrik Kommer was a small Pistol maker in Zella Mehlis, the same town in which the Walther Factory was located. They were a small niche Pistol company that was known for their very well-made .22lr target pistols and a fairly popular vest pocket pistol, the most well-known and commonly seen version was called the Model 3. The Model 4 was developed in 1936 and was produced in small quantities until the factory ceased firearms production in 1940. The Nazi Eagle N proofed examples such as this pistol are the most desirable for collectors.
This pistol is something of a find for serious collectors as they seldom turn up and never ever fully rigged out. This will certainly get snapped up quickly.
