SOLD WEBLEY MARK IV .38 REVOLVER…..RARE ISRAELI MILITARY CONTRACT IN MINT CONDITION

In 97%+ condition, we have a mint Webley & Scott 1967 production Mark IV .38 S&W caliber revolver.  This is an early contract example that was re-proofed to the Israeli military requirement of 4 tons.  These revolvers were part of an Israeli contract during the 1967 war.  It is known that these revolvers were used by the IDF and the Police forces as well.  This revolver is in mint condition and is all matching as well.  As all of these guns are, there is an import mark under the barrel, as they were not released from service in Israel until the 1990’s.   This is a fairly scarce Webley and they are not often seen, many folks think that they date from the 1940’s but the serial range and known facts about them indicate that they were manufactured in 1967.  If you are looking for an example this will be about as good an example as you will ever see.
