SOLD HK P9S PISTOL……….SCARCE COLD WAR ERA WEST GERMAN PISTOL…MINT IN BOX

In mint condition, still with the original box as well, we have a scarce and seldom seen Heckler & Koch Model P9S Pistol.  This roller locking pistol was produced from 1969-1978 and this gun is from 1977.  These roller lock pistols were very much ahead of their time, and as most things way ahead of their time it was not commercially successful.  A silenced version of this pistol was used by the US Navy Seals, as this locking mechanism was useful on silenced pistols. This was always the pistol that those on the front edge of technology liked, though most shooters did not appreciate the ungainly looks.  Very much a product of the times, they are being sought after for those who appreciate the early HK innovations in Handguns that we all benefit from today.
