Description

This is certainly one of the most interesting and well documented WW2 War Trophy Pistols that we have had in the office.  In  97% condition we have a Wartime Commercial Walther PP Pistol in a very well made wartime shoulder holster that was surrendered by an officer of the German 11th Panzer Division in May of 1945 to Corporal William Feger of the 359th Regiment who landed on D-Day and fought throughout the war and brought this back as his war trophy.   This pistol is accompanied by a significant grouping of photographs and documentation of both Feger and the surrender of the 11th Panzer Division.  Feger is one of the soldiers pictured in the second picture of the Actual surrender and was in the right place at the right time of get this pistol and witness an important aspect of the ending of the war.  This is certainly one of the few pistols that can be traced directly to a German Panzer Divsion and it certainly makes an impressive piece for display.
