Description

In excellent all matching condition and not import marked, we have a fine example of the scarce Italian Army Modello 38 T.S. Carbine….the Special Troops Carbine.  this example was made by F.N. A. Brescia in 1942.  This is the scarcest main variant Italian Service Rifle and they were intended for issue to engineers, artillery troops and Caribinieri, among others.    This example was produced in 1942 and certainly saw service in the Italian campaign and possibly North Africa.  They are rarely seen here in America except in turd condition and import marked, so this is something of a find.  Surprisingly, while not expensive, decent original condition Italian Service Rifles are a bit elusive to locate and we rarely get such nice examples in the office.
