In 97% excellent condition still with the original matching numbered mag, we have an Pre- Pearl Harbor, September, 1941 production Nambu Type 94 Pistol. The pistol is all matching and has a mint bore. It is comes with the original Vet brought back pigskin holster with the rare shoulder strap and an even rare Japanese made shoulder pad that slides on the strap. This is a very sharp looking pre war pistol. All type 94’s have a very sketchy look but this one is nicer than a lot that you see. The Type 94 is maligned as the worst made and designed pistol used by the major combatants of the Second World War. None the less, it is fully functional and fairly reliable. As far as collecting Japanese firearms goes, it is much scarcer than the Type 14 Nambu and it is very seriously collected. This is a top example, the holster is a huge plus.
