Description

In 96+%  sharp condition still with the original matching numbered mag,  we have a Feb, 1945, 2.20 date  production Nambu Type 94 Pistol.  This pistol comes with an unusual shoulder holster and spare mag.   The pistol is all matching and has a mint bore.  This is late war “Square back Variant”.  All type 94’s have a very sketchy look and this one is very roughly finished.   The Type 94 is  widely and often maligned as the worst manufactured and designed pistol used by the any of the major combatants of the Second World War.  None the less, it is fully functional and fairly reliable. It is certainly better than carrying a sword!  As far as collecting Japanese firearms goes, it is much scarcer than the Type 14 Nambu and is quite seriously collected.  This is a top example.
