Description

In very good ++ condition we have a hard to find early Nazi production all matching 1937 dated Mauser Oberndorf manufactured (42 code) K98k German WW2 Service rifle.  The bore is excellent.  This is the standard early war configuration with the solid Walnut stock, the milled bands and the flat butt plate.  The stock cartouches are clearly visible and easy to read.  This is pretty much the poster child for a pre WW2 98k production rifle as manufactured by the primary contractor, Mauser.  If you want just one really nice 98k rifle then this will fit the bill well, these early guns are very tough to find all matching and this is a  nice looking rifle that certainly saw combat during the war.  It has that very attractive carried look that can really speak to you.
