In 98% mint crisp condition & 100% factory original, we have a March, 1945 production US WWII REMINGTON RAND 1911A1 US ARMY SERVICE PISTOL.  The pistol has seen very little use, probably played with more than anything else and the bore Is mint as well.  These later war Remington Rand pistols have a distinctive milling pattern on the slide and they are quite rugged and attractive looking.

Remington Rand, was the best producer of M1911a1 pistols during the war; not only did they produce the largest number they also produced the highest quality pistol as well.  This is one of the most iconic pistols of the war and certainly are a must own item for any collector.
