Description

In a world of made up National Match Rifles this is a genuine text book documented  example in exceptional condition.   We have a DCM papered type II M1 Garand National Match rifle this is 100% correct and all matching as are all true National Match rifles. The main componets are numbered in white china pencil and all the parts are exactly as they should be.  This rifle was built in 1963 and was sold way back in 1970 to Donald Van Skiver, a noted and well known Virginia Match shooter and Gun Authority.  He did use this rifle in the National Matches it is weighted and weather proofed. The rifle is set up and ready to go.  These rifles are highly sought after and people try to “recreate” them and we see tons of that hoked up stuff out there on the market but this is a genuine item with the confirming documentation.  All the giblets are there including the box, the wrapper and all the paperwork. The paper tube from the barrel is even there!     These rifles have become legendary and this would be a fantastic range rifle and a top investment as well.
