In 99% mint nearly new condition, we have a top example of the Swiss Model 1882 Ordnance Revolver in 7.5 Swiss caliber. This example was manufactured in 1926 and is of course all matching and mint to include the bore. This piece is a marvel to behold, its made like a Rolex and beautifully finished. The honey walnut grips just glow. I could play with it for hours. It comes with an original box of ammo as well. These revolvers will shoot the Swedish 7.5 revolver ammunition as well.
Because the Swiss are just so CHEAP, these revolvers stayed in service in some fashion right into the 1970’s. Interestingly the Swiss military ammunition for this pistol was always loaded with black powder right up until the end. The Swedish 7.5 revolver ammo is modern smokeless powder so it’s best to use that if you wish to shoot it. Apparently the Swiss thought that you could shoot this at someone and then vanish behind the smoke screen that the back powder produced.
