MON AUG 31, VERY CHOICE, ENFILED 1889 MARTINI HENRY 577/455 MARK IV SERVICE RIFLE, MINT BORE, NOT A RECENT IMPORT!

In antique excellent condition and not a recent import, straight out of a very old collection, we have an Enfield 1889 dated Mark IV Martini Henry 577/455 service rifle.  The bore on this rifle is mint.  This is the famous old rifle of the British Empire used to shoot Zulus, Hottentots, and all various and sundry savages.  This one appears to have come out of the Indian sub-continent one of the roundels is for the Allahabad Arsenal, which I believe in now in what is currently Pakistan.
