Description

In 95% very nice combat salty condition, & 100% factory original & correct, we have a late 1917 production Brushed Blue Finish Colt Model of 1911 US Army Service Pistol.  On January 3, 1918, this pistol was shipped directly to the fighting in France to the American Expeditionary Forces Ordnance Depot 6, which was located in Marseilles and then straight into the trenches with the doughboys and most certainly used in combat….Over there!  The bore is excellent, and this pistol Does have the correct two-tone magazine, I just did not take a pic of it.

If you are looking for a nice example of the iconic Colt WWI Doughboy 1911, this is a great example, with just enough combat use to make it very attractively priced.  This is a straight up honest all original Colt with lots of character!
