SOLD VERY CHOICE, ULTRA RARE MAUSER G DATE (1935) NAZI POLICE LUGER, VERY RARE VARIANT, ONLY 600 PRODUCED, WITH MATCHNG MAG! VERY CRISP!

In 97% very crisp condition we have a very scarce and seldom seen Mauser G Date (1935) Nazi Police Issue Luger Pistol, all matching including the magazine.  This is an Extremely Rare Variant, only 600 were made, all in the “e” production block.  This Pistol is all matching and the bore is excellent as well.  You will notice the Police required Sear Safety has been installed which identifies it along with the serial number as one of the 600 E block pistols diverted to the Nazi era Police. Unusually as well, this pistol was fitted with a magazine safety.  This is the only G date Police Luger that we have examined with this feature, as it was found to be ineffective and was removed from all police pistols around 1935/36.  The mag safety was probably installed and removed almost immediately.

Most of the surviving pistols from the variation have shown considerable wear from hard service use; this is much nicer than usually seen and it is a real find.  This is a must have item for the serious Luger or Nazi Police Collector.
