Description

In 97% very sharp condition we have a prime example of a 1944, later war 3 line Variant Military Finish Mauser HSc Pistol.  This is waffenamted  WaA/135.  The bore is mint and the pistol is matching.  This is a top example of the famous HSc, the pistol that was the accepted standard issue Army 7.65mm (.32 auto) Pistol.  While many, many other 7.65 caliber pistols were issued, this was the standard pistol that was originally adopted by the Army and Navy back in 1940.

This pistol is still with the war trophy capture papers from Pvt Leonard Kuchinskas, who served with the 601st AAA Battery.  They went in on D-day plus 10, fought in Normandy and ended up in Antwerp shooting down V-1 Buzz bombs.  These days finding German WWII Military pistols with the capture papers is not at all common.

No serious WWII collection should be without at least one or two examples of this extremely well made and modern pistol.  It was the German Army’s choice for a small pistol and was picked over the Walther PPK and the Sauer 38H.   If you need an HSc for your collection this is a top condition example.
