In 97% very sharp condition, we have an extremely rare and nearly impossible to find Vietnam Era US Army Colt Detective Special Revolver that was shipped to Letterkeny Army Depot on September 21, 1970. This is US marked on the back gripstrap and is “P” proofed on the left trigger guard. The pistol is 100% factory original and is in top mechanical condition with a mint bore.
These rare revolvers are seldom seen because most of them are still sitting in Government inventory. I have been told by some of our clients that they carried these revolvers in Vietnam while actively serving with the CID-, and the intelligence community ie; DIA,CIA, etc, etc. This is a real find and will be a must have for many of our clients.
