In 95% very nice condition, we have an Obscure, but extremely rare and highly desirable Very Late Production Franz Stock Type 2 Pistol in 7,65mm (.32 auto). This pistol is Nazi era Eagle/N commercial proofed. The last of these very well made pistols was produced in 1940 and this is one of the very last assembled before production ceased. This has a mint bore. The Type 2 is somewhat more streamlined and better looking than the type 1 and the barrel is somewhat shorter as well. These pistols are very well made and known to be highly accurate. They were not sold in huge numbers probably because there were better designs out there for sale such as anything that Walther or Mauser made.
We have a goodly number of clients that collect any pistol that has a 1940 or later Eagle/N proofmark and this Type 2 Franz Stock is one of the hardest pistols of that era to pin down for your collection.
