This fine antique Webley Revolver was made in 1883 and therefore is an antique that can be shipped directly without paperwork.  In antique fine condition, we have a very scarce and rarely seen 1883 P. Webely & Son’s Metroplitan Police Service revolver in .450 centerfire, with the actual confirmed London Metropolitan Police/Scotland Yard inventory number.  The gun in excellent condition with a mint bore and tight lockup.  

This pistol was in Police service as the sidearm of a Detective of the renowned Scotland Yard and would have been in service during the hunt for the Whitechapel Murderer known as Jack The Ripper.  This is also considered to be the likely revolver carried by the fictional Sherlock Holmes.  This is the classic, Victorian Era London Police Revolver and would be of huge interest to many folks.
