Description

In 96-97% very sharp condition, we have a US WWII OSS issued Ithaca Model 1911a1 US Army Service Pistol.  According to the Ithaca Factory shipping records,  this pistol was shipped to the Office of Strategic Serviced on Jan 11, 1944 as part of a shipment of 5,000 pistols to the OSS.

This pistol is 100% original and textbook correct and was assembled in late 1943.  It bears the inspection symbol of “+” of Charles August on the front left trigger guard and it is all factory original with an excellent bore.  This is a great example of a pistol that would have been carried by OSS agents during the war.
