In 96% very sharp condition, we have an non import marked Nazi made/ French Occupation Star proofed ac44 FN Stacked slide P.38 Pistol.  You will not see a rarer Nazi/French P.38, they don’t exist, this is it.  This is an at least partially Nazi assembled pistols with a final French Star inspection proof.  Mauser made pistols using this FN made slide are one of the most sought after P.38 variants and how much more so is this nearly one of a kind example that was probably assembled in the weeks after the occupation of Mauser Oberndorf.   If you are an advanced P.38 collector this is a very important pistol.
