In 97% mint crisp all matching condition with a non matching German Navy magazine, we have an Ultra Rare DWM 1928 Dutch Navy Contract 9mm Luger Pistol. This Pistol by serial number was completed in 1929. The bore is mint and it is a completely orthodox text book example of a Pristine condition Dutch Navy Luger; Not to be confused with the typically reworked and beat to hell Dutch East Indies Lugers.
This was a Dutch Navy North Sea Fleet Issued Luger. After the Dutch Capitulation in 1940, It probably ended serving with the Kriegsmarine, as evidenced by the Nord See Fleet mag it came with.
Certainly one of the rarest and finest looking Dutch Lugers that we have come across, I am very tempted to keep it myself. The Dutch Navy has enjoyed a very great reputation and is a fine service and this pistol is part of that Great Dutch Seafaring Tradition.
