In 97% very fine antique condition, we have a top example of the very high quality Swedish M/1887, 7.5mm Nagant Service Revolver. This is one of the very first 2500 of these pistols that were ordered by Sweden from the Nagant Brothers in Belgium. After these pistols were delivered a licensing agreement was completed and later pistols were produced by Husqvarna in Sweden. This is a totally matching example. The bore is mint and this really pops with all of the straw. This is not import marked and is also a Pre 1898 Antique so it can ship directly to you. If you want to shoot this ammo can readily be found.
The Swedish Nagant Revolver is a prime example of the .32 caliber Service revolvers that we adopted by Many European countries in the Late 1800’s. While not a man stopper by today’s standard they certainly will incapacitate and kill a person, especially during close combat. They are extremely well made and rugged but were soon eclipsed by the rise of the semi Automatic pistol in the early 1900’s. There has been a resurgence in collector interest in these pistols of late as they are extremely fascinating and intricately made works of industrial art.
