In mint new sharp condition we have a 100% original very early Sept, 1942 production Inland M1 Carbine. This has all of the early features including the cross cannon cartouche in the sling well. This was before it was moved to the right side of the stock. Of course this has the early I-cut stock and the checkered mag release and safety also. The khaki sling is as mint as this carbine. These very early production carbines are just impossible to find in original condition, let alone this mint. This carbine was found in Arlington VA back in the 60’s and has been in a collection of an old timer since. It probably came out of Ft Myer or someplace near Washington and never left the states. You will never find a mint new early carbine this early and this nice.
