Absolutely hands down, one of the earliest non-Lend Lease M-1 Garand we have ever carried, we have a vet bringback October 1941 Production Springfield Armory M-1 Garand US Army Service Rifle. This is 100% factory original and is a completely orthodox textbook example. This rifle has the desirable Large Ordnance Wheel stamp and the proper G.H. S. cartouche of Col. Gilbert H. Stewart. It has all of the early features such as the flush nut rear sight, single slot gas plug, sealed front sight, un-cut op rod, and all other correct early features. This rifle was carried n combat, used, not abused and has been there and done that!!! Finding a Garand this early and un-messed with that is not Lend Lease marked is almost impossible. Not to overstate this fact but this rifle has not been rebuilt restored or screwed with; its straight out of WWII.
This is the real deal, combat carried from before the start of WWII, just an impossible rifle to locate and a real find!!!
