SOLD US WW2 COLT 1911A1 U.S. ARMY PISTOL ….JULY-AUG, 1945….LATE WAR END OF PRODUCTION

In 96% condition, we have a somewhat scarce end of production Colt 1911a1 pistol that was shipped out during the last two months of production in July or August of 1945.  The bore is mint and the pistol features the very smooth Parko-Lubrite finish which was in use at the time. These WW2 pistols were the last 1911a1’s that were made for the Government and they were used in combat as late as Desert Storm.  If you are looking for a very late production military Colt this is a prime example.
