Description

Back in the early post war period this was probably the finest Man-killer revolver that you could buy from Smith and Wesson.  This is a Pre Model 27 with the gun- fighting 3 1/2 inch barrel length.  The revolver is all matching and still has the original grips.  This was your dream gun if you were an FBI agent at the time as it was somewhat concealable under a jacket and it could put a man down with one shot.  These revolvers are the post war version of the Registered Magnum and they are made just as nicely, with much attention paid to detail that you just cannot find on the later Smith revolvers. The large N frame will easily make the hot Magnum loads more manageable and they are very sweet shooters with regular 38 special.  These revolvers are now very highly sought after by collectors.
