SOLD COLT 1939 SERVICE MODEL ACE PISTOL AND ULTRA RARE CONVERSION KIT TO CHANGE IT TO .45ACP….MINT STUNNING!

Here are a couple of real true Pre-war Colt Treasures both in 98%++ condition, both from 1939-40 and both being sold together.  We have a 1939 Colt Service Model Ace .22lr Pistol, and the Ultra rare (only 112 made) Colt .45-22 Conversion Unit.  The conversion unit would convert the pistol into a .45acp match pistol.  They are esoterically rare with only 112 being produced.   These pieces were originally not together but have been in a collection together for a dogs age.  The Conversion Kit was purchased at the very well known Chicago Firm Hibbard, Spencer, Bartlett & Co. in March of 1941 while the Service Model Ace was purchased a year earlier in March of 1939 at the Tom Taylor Co. of Scranton, PA.  Both of these items are 100% correct and factory original.  They were expensive items when purchased and they have always been cherished and well cared for.  They will be of major interest to any serious Colt collector and the investment potential cannot be understated.
