In 98% mint condition, we have a very rare and highly sought after Nazi Army issued Star model B pistol in 9m/m Luger caliber. This is a variation 2 pistol with the additional “B Serial #” and early slide logo, perhaps the most desirable variant. This pistol was part of the Lot 14 shipment that was delivered to the German Army on July 26, 1943 as part of a lot of 4000 pistols. It is Waffenamted Eagle WaA251. The Model B Star Pistol was a beautifully finished very well made and highly regarded pistol. This pistol is fully rigged out with a rare original holster and spare mag.
The best part about this pistol is the documentation that gives a lot of detailed information from the son of the vet that brought it back and makes for a really interesting read. These documents are notarized and shed a lot of light on the actual service use of this pistol by the Germans during the war and also sheds a lot of light on how so many German pistols were brought back by GI’s as war trophy’s. Certainly the most complete Star Model B that we have had in the office.
