Description

In 97%  sharp condition, we have a US WW2 issued Colt Commando Revolver with the standard 4 inch barrel in .38 Special.  According to Colts this pistol was shipped to the Chief of Police of Sherman, Texas on December 8, 1943.  We have a Colt Letter coming with this gun. It is highly unusual for a military ghd inspected gun to have been shipped to a non-military destination.  While many of the revolvers were issued to guard war plants this seagoing Colt is a much more historically intriguing piece.  Of course this is completely matching and factory original. This is a great example of a WW2 issued Texas Colt.
