SOLD VERY RARE POST WAR FRENCH OCCUPATION MAUSER BANNER LUGER……MINT CRISP STUNNING!

In 98% mint crisp condition, we have a very rare and highly desirable Immediate Postwar French Occupation assembled Mauser Banner Commercial Luger in 9 mm.  This pistol is all matching and has a mint bore.  There are generally speaking 4 variations of the postwar French Mauser Lugers and this falls into the second variation which other than the serial number is very similar to the late war Mauser produced non-military Lugers. These Lugers were used to arm the French Army which was in desperate need of weapons in the postwar period, but they were also available for sale and were also gifted to French and American officers and that is how this example is believed to have gotten here.  If you are a serious Luger collector this is the one gun that you should have to end cap your collection.
