In 96% very sharp condition, we have a fine example of a WWI 1914 dated Austro-Hungarian Military Issued Model 1912 Steyr Hahn Pistol. This Also comes with a rarely seen holster as well. More importantly this pistol and it’s holster are pictured in Jan Still’s central powers pistol book and that makes it incredibly desirable and alluring. This is from Jan’s personal collection.
This is military accepted in 1914 and is all matching with an excellent bore. Chambered for the 9mm Steyr cartridge this was a tad more potent than the 9mm Luger cartridge. This pistol has no magazine and is loaded from the top either singly or with a stripper clip. Although the design was a bit archaic the pistols were very reliable and were in still in widespread use by many combatants during WWII, especially in Italy. If you collect WWI era pistols this is a fine example for your collection, made even more desirable by being rigged out and unit marked.
