SOLD RARE LUFTWAFFE MARKED…1936 J.P. SAUER CODE S147 K98k MAUSER RIFLE…..COMPLETELY MATCHING….NICE!

In excellent condition, all matching down to the screws, we have a very rare early production 1936 dated JP Sauer made 98k rifle that is also Luftamted on the barrel indicating Luftwaffe inspection and acceptance.  This is quite rare especially on such an early production rifle.  The cartouches on the rifle are very crisp and sharp and the stock has not been messed with in any way.  The bore is excellent and the rifle is a premier example of a very desirable maker early production 98k.  Very likely this could have been issued to the paratroopers and it may have seen action on Crete or at Eban Emael.  This is a must have 98k rifle.
