In mint all matching condition, we have a rare late war production, (Feb-March, 1945) production Berlin Lubecker manufactured QVE45 coded K.43 Semi-Automatic Rifle. This just came out of the woodwork sitting in a closet and it is a little dusty; the manual and spare parts kit are in the butt and look undisturbed! It also has a nice sling. A big plus with this rifle it was made with a G.41 milled cover, which were sporadically used in 1945 because of shortages of stamped covers. This feature greatly enhances the desirability of the rifle to collectors. The stock on this rifle is particularly attractive with very sharp cartouches and a really nice look. QVE coded rifles are not particularly common in the US primarily because much of the production went east to fight the Russians in 1945. This is a great example of a late war assembled K.43 Rifle.
