In 98% mint crisp condition, we have a later mid war production Nazi Police Eagle/c Sauer Model 38H Pistol. This pistol has the deleted slide logo but still has the slide safety. It also still has both factory original Zinc base magazines. This is rigged out in a mint German made shoulder holster. It is not certain whether this was the context it was issued with during the war or a US G.I had it made up for the gun in postwar Germany; either scenario is plausible. The Nazi Police apparatus had its hands very full during WW2, they were responsible to control of and security of the population in the newly conquered lands. This could be normal police work or fierce battles with partisans. Large quantities of arms were needed to enforce the reign of terror they inflicted and this is a prime example of what was carried as a side arm.
