This mint crisp all matching Mauser Standard Modell Rifle was a WW2 vet bringback from Germany and still is with the actual very early May,1945 bring back papers. We were told that it came right off of the rack out of the arms room of some Nazi Party, SA or SS headquarters building in Germany at the end of the war. This is a mint crisp all matching rifle that dates from 1936. This is an exceptionally fine example of the commercial grade treatment these military rifles were manufactured with. They are beautifully fit and finished. This rifle is one of the cleanest sharpest Standard Modell rifles that we have come across and it has always been a treasured war trophy. These rifles were widely issued to Nazi Police, Nazi government agencies and certainly heavily issued to the SS and SA.
