This is a 97% sharp example of a very rare and seldom ever seen Sauer Behoerden (Authorities model) Pistol. This is an extremely scarce Prussian State Police “Starburst K” marked example. This was the last design upgrade of the old style Sauer .32 and it was specifically designed for Nazi Police issue and they were almost exclusively sold to various government security forces. The most notable feature on this pistol is the trigger safety, which helps to prevent accidental discharge. These pistols are exquisitely made and finished and are of a very small size and extremely ergonomic. Very few were produced as the very innovative Modell 38 would soon replace it. Today, these pistols are seldom seen and never with the Police marking; it is a real find for the Police or Sauer pistol collector.
