IN ANTIQUE EXCELLENT CONDITION WE HAVE A SCARCE 1895 MANUFACTURED WEBELY MARK II SERVICE REVOLVER STILL IN THE ORIGINAL .455 CALIBRE AND ALL MATCHING.  THIS IS ONE OF THE VERY FIRST MARK TWO’S THAT WAS PRODUCED AND WOULD HAVE BEEN MADE IN 1895.  THIS REVOLVER DEFINATLEY SAW SERVICE IN THE ANGLO DUTCH BOER WAR.  IT IS UNIT MARKED AND ALSO HAS  UNION OF SOUTH AFRICA PROPERTY MARKED INDICATING IT STAYED IN SERVICE DOWN THERE FOR SOME TIME AFTER THE WAR.  THIS IS ONE OF THE HARDER PRE WW1 WEBLEY VARIANTS TO LOCATE AND THIS IS VERY MUCH A TOP END EXAMPLE.  THE HORN GRIPS ARE IN GREAT SHAPE AND THE BORE HAS MINIMAL WEAR.  A WONDERFUL PISTOL FROM A VERY ADVENTUROUS PERIOD.
