Description

IN A SOLID 97% ORIGINAL VERY NICE CONDITION, WE HAVE A PRIME EXAMPLE OF A HARD TO FIND EARLY WAR NAZI POLICE ISSUED HIGH POLISH FINISH EAGLE C MARKED SAUER 38H PISTOL, THIS IS THE FULL RIG THE HOLSTER AND BOTH MAGS ARE NUMBERED TO THE GUN. TO MAKE THIS EVEN MORE DESIRABLE THIS IS ONE OF THE HIGHLY SOUGHT AFTER PISTOLS WITH THE LOWERED RE-CUT MAG RELEASE. THIS IS AN EARLY PRODUCTION EXAMPLE WITH THE HIGH POLISH FINISH. THE PISTOL COMES WITH ITS ORIGINAL ISSUED 1941 OTTO SINDEL HOLSTER. THIS PISTOL IS FROM A RUN OF POLICE PISTOLS THAT WERE MADE AT SAUER IN 1941, VERY LIKELY FOR THE POLICE AND EINSATZ GRUPPEN HEADED EAST INTO RUSSIA. THIS PISTOL IS MATCHING AND THE BORE IS EXCELLENT. THE FINISH JUST SHOWS SOME SLIGHT HOLSTER WEAR. I DO NOT THINK YOU COULD FIND A MORE DESIRABLE EXAMPLE OF A SAUER POLICE MARKED 38H; THIS ONE HAS IT ALL. EARLY HIGH POLISH SAUERS ARE NOT EASY TO FIND THIS NICE BECUASE THE COMMERICAL GRADE FINISH JUST DID NOT STAND UP WELL TO USE. THIS PISTOL WILL BE OF GREAT INTEREST TO BOTH THE SAUER AND THE POLICE PISTOL COLLECTORS.
