News from the office: We had an eventful week in the office this past week. We had a fall kickoff sale which ran through last Wednesday and we were able to visit and pillage the MAX Show which was this weekend in York, PA.
Brett and I attended the MAX show and it was first show we have been able to visit in over a year. It was great re-connecting with many of you and I deeply appreciated all the kind words that Brett & I received from many of our clients and colleagues who were pleased to see us return to our happy hunting grounds. We were just happy to be back! We were able to take in the whole show and did obtain some very choice pieces, plus promising leads on future acquisitions. As is typical with the MAX Show there were much less firearms on tables than we see at the Show of Shows but there was an abundance of rough grade military rifles which was surprising. There were almost no decent holsters to be found at the show which was a bit unusual. The crowd was sizable, there were a lot of European dealers and collectors in attendance and the scene was vibrant. I would say it was one of the better max shows that we have attended.
Please make an appointment if you are stopping by the office. We are more than happy to pull something for you to look at if you have an interest; we just need to know in advance and don’t mind a visit.
