Description
This is a seldom seen rare/weirdo rifle, the French converted St. Denis Rifle. These rifles were originally Mauser Model 1871 11mm Black powder rifles that were Surplus sold to Uruguay by the Germans. Around the turn of the last century, they were shipped to France and converted to a single shot smokeless cartridge made specifically for these rifles called 6.5mm Dadeteau which is nearly impossible to locate. This is a beautiful example with a choice piece of European walnut for the stock. Of course this is a pre98 antique and can be shipped directly to your home.
