In a very attractive 97% condition we have an extremely desirable 1940 dated 42 Code Mauser Made P.08 Luger Pistol that has the very rare red Krieghoff coarse checkered grips.  These grips appear on an estimated 1% of the 1940 Production.  They were obtained by Mauser from Krieghoff at the end of there regular production.  This pistol is totally matching including the mag and the bore is mint as well.  These red gripped 1940 Mauser Lugers are very well known and highly sought after by collectors for the very distinctive look. This would be a great addition to anyone’s Luger or WW2 collection.
