Description
In 95% very sharp condition, we have a Colt Model 1917 US Service Revolver in .45acp. This is 100% factory original, all matching with a mint bore. Records indicate that this revolver was shipped to the Springfield Armory on May 27, 1918.
The M-1917 revolver was widely issued in both World Wars and was used by other federal agencies such as the Post office and the Treasury department for many years. This is a US Army WWI classic and there should be at least one of these in every US martial handgun collection.
