In 98% rarely found condition, we have a scarce and seldom seen French made under Nazi Occupation Unique “kriegsmodell” Pistol. This is a mid production example and bears the WaAd20 waffenamt found on these production examples. This is all matching and has a mint bore and much more finish than is usually found on these French made pistols.
The Unique Kriegsmodell was perhaps the ultimate modification of the old WWI “Ruby” design, suited to the German taste, with a more ergonomic grip, better sights and an exposed hammer. These pistols are not common; only bout half as many were made compared with the Unique model 17. Certainly, one of the most desirable of the Foreign contract Nazi pistols.
Scotty’s collector insight…These pistols when we find them are usually suffering from extensive blue loss. This is a rarely seen top condition example that seldom come to the market.
