In mint crisp nearly new all matching condition WITH A STUNNING STOCK, we have a very rare and extremely desirable later production Mauser Standard Modell Service Rifle. This is late production with the 98k style turned down bolt. We were told that it came right off of the rack out of the arms room of some Nazi Party, SA or SS headquarters building in Germany at the end of the war. This is a mint crisp all matching rifle that dates from 1938-40. This is an exceptionally fine example of the commercial grade treatment these military rifles were manufactured with. They are beautifully fit and finished and the stock on this one is stunning. This rifle is one of the cleanest sharpest Standard Modell rifles that we have come across and it has always been a treasured war trophy. These rifles were widely issued to Nazi Police, Nazi government agencies and certainly heavily issued to the SS and SA. Certainly a premier grade Mauser and a must have for the advanced collector, this one really pops!!!
